For pastors and ministry leaders

Help your people get free, without watching them

Some of the people you serve fight pornography in secret. Christian Adult Blocker gives them protection, help in the hard moments and people who pray, while their privacy stays theirs. Here is a free kit to help you recommend it with grace.

Here after a church service or group? You are welcome here. The app is free to start on Android, and nobody at your church will see how you use it.

01Why it matters

A quiet struggle, in every kind of church

It is not only young men, and it is not only people on the edge of church life. Women and men, single and married, new believers and long-time members can carry this struggle for years without telling a soul, because they are afraid of what people would think.

Shame keeps people hiding. Grace brings them into the light. When a church talks about pornography calmly, and makes clear that nobody is beyond God's help, people find the courage to take a first step, often a small and private one.

A practical tool can be that first step. It does not replace your care. It gives people something to hold on to between Sunday and the next honest conversation.

“Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:1–2 (WEB)

02What the app does

Protection, help and people, together

Christian Adult Blocker is a Christian porn blocker and recovery app for Android phones and tablets, made by Lightpath Digital in Finland.

Porn Blocker

Covers explicit sites, searches and apps before they load, and shows a Bible verse and options instead. A web filter works underneath.

Worship Mode Free

A one-tap lockdown for 1 to 3 hours that points to prayer, for the moments when it is hardest.

Companion

An AI companion to talk to at any hour. It remembers a person's plan, points to Scripture and to real people, and is not a therapist. Free members get 20 messages a day; Premium removes the daily limit.

People who pray

An accountability partner the member chooses, a moderated community and a prayer wall. Private messages are end-to-end encrypted.

A plan to grow

Streaks, a recovery plan built from a person's triggers, a journal, a daily verse, Bible reading plans and a prayer timer.

Crisis help

When someone is in danger, the app shows crisis lines straight away.

What leaders never see

  • Nobody ever sees anyone's screen or browsing history.
  • No church dashboard and no report to leaders.
  • The member chooses their partner, who hears only what the member chooses to share.
  • Private messages in the app are end-to-end encrypted.

So you can recommend it without becoming anyone's monitor. Your role stays pastoral: to listen, to pray and to walk alongside.

03How to recommend it

Wherever people already open up

Sunday

A pulpit mention

A short, calm mention during a sermon on grace, purity or temptation, with the QR slide on screen. The announcement below takes under a minute.

Groups

Small groups

Leaders can mention it when the topic comes up, and pair it with a conversation about who each person could ask to walk with them.

One to one

Pastoral care and counselling

A practical next step to offer after someone confides in you, alongside ongoing care and, where needed, a licensed counsellor.

Ministries

Men's and women's ministries

This is not only a men's issue. Women struggle too, and often feel even more alone. Offer it in both, with the same warmth.

Families

Parents of teenagers

Point parents to the free guides, including how to protect Android phones, to help them start honest, unhurried conversations at home.

Recovery

Recovery and prayer ministries

Something to hold on to between meetings: a blocker, a chosen partner and a prayer wall for the hours when nobody else is awake.

05A suggested announcement

Under a minute, from the front

Many people, in every church, quietly struggle with pornography. If that is you, you are not alone, and you are not beyond God's grace. There is a free Android app called Christian Adult Blocker that blocks explicit content, gives you somewhere to turn in hard moments, and helps you walk with someone you trust. Nobody sees your screen, not even us as your leaders. Scan the code on the screen or visit christianadultblocker.com/churches. And if you would like to talk, our door is open.

Adapt the wording freely. Consider adding the name of a person people can speak to.

06Questions pastors ask

Before you recommend it

Can I, as a pastor, see who in my church uses the app?

No. There is no church dashboard and no report to leaders. Nobody ever sees a member's screen or browsing history. If a member chooses an accountability partner, that partner hears only what the member chooses to share.

Is it free?

Yes, it is free to start, with ads that never appear on help or crisis screens, and free members can talk to the AI companion for 20 messages a day. Premium costs €7.49 a month or €37.99 a year. It unlocks every AI feature, removes the companion's daily limit and adds App Blocker and Strict Mode. Google Play shows the price in the local currency. The church kit is free.

Does it work on iPhone?

Not at the moment. Christian Adult Blocker is for Android phones and tablets only. There is no iPhone version.

Is it only for men?

No. Women struggle with pornography too, and often feel even more alone. The app is written for women and men, and so are the free guides on this website.

Does the app replace pastoral care or counselling?

No. It is a practical tool that works alongside the church. Its AI companion points people to Scripture and to real people, and it is not a therapist. Where the struggle is tied to anxiety, depression, trauma or other compulsions, a licensed counsellor or a doctor can help.

What happens if someone is in crisis?

The app shows crisis lines straight away when someone is in danger. If you know someone may harm themselves, contact local emergency services or a crisis line at once.

Can we adapt and print the materials?

Yes. Print as many copies as you like, show the slides in services and groups, and adapt the announcement wording to fit your church. Please do not change what the materials say about the app itself.

If you or someone you care for is thinking about self-harm, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now. In the US you can call or text 988.
